Hi,

I am Rishi Agarwal, an entrepreneur with my first start-up as ThinkingSpace Technologies. I am involved in lot of things in this start-up, one is playing the role of a Database Developer and Administrator.

I have had experience of working on Oracle 9i in my previous job . But being a start-up, we have used MySQL in most of our applications/products. I have worked on MSSQL too sometime back. But after all these experiences, I love MySQL. Just for the simplicity of its architecture, or ease of language, or ease of installation and configuration and lot of other minute things, I prefer MySQL over other DB Servers.

And one main reason for loving this server is its  OPEN SOURCE COMMUNITY. Help is always at hand, and blogs from  Planet MySQL have always been there. My blog is one such effort to give back to the community. I started this to share  my experiences with using MySQL and to reflect my thoughts and opinions on everything related to MySQL.
